Private group classes available.

For groups of ten or more, able to meet in a private home or clubhouse, four-part classes are available.  These classes can be arranged for every other week sequentially.  Cost is $40 per person per series.

Topics:

1.     Foreign Policy:  The Iraq War, War Within Islam, Population Explosion and Implosion, Relations with China.
2.     Greek Theatre--The birth of Western Values: The Oresteia, justice; Antigone, state vs. conscience; Trojan Women, anti-war; and Lysistrata, women-power.
3.     The World of Islam; Arab origins, Persia and Spain, the  Golden Age; The Ottomans and Moguls--dying empires; and today's war within Islam.
4.     History of Western Religions:     Ancient roots of all and Zoroastrianism; Judaism and Christianity; Islam and Medieval Christianity; Reformation and the Secular Challenge.
